Hand-cut cedar planks for baking or grilling salmon.
Set of 3 4"x8" planks.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
-
Prepare the Plank - Fully submerge the plank in water and soak for a minimum 30 minutes (you can even do this overnight). Just before starting to cook, pull the plank from the water and let drain.
-
Preheat the Plank - (optional - recommended for crispier skin). When the oven or grill is done preheating, add the cedar plank (if baking, use the center rack). It will probably sizzle a little as the water evaporates. Close the grill or oven and heat for about 10 minutes until the plank is hot.
-
Cook the Fish - Once cedar plank is hot, gently and carefully place the salmon fillet directly on the cedar – this is your cooking pan! Set your cooking timer and leave undisturbed.
Do not leave the cedar plank unattended while in the oven or on the grill.
